While addressing a joint sitting of Parliament in the Central Hall, 

President‪ #‎PranabMukherjee‬ lays the roadmap of the new Narendra Modi-led government.

 

Here are the Hightlights:

-FDI will be allowed where jobs can be created

-Tax regime will be made non-adversarial and investment friendly

-Will set up IITs and IIMs in every state

-Will re-invigorate investment cycle

-33% reservation for women in parliament

-Formulate new health policy

-Will provide wifi zones in critical places

-PDS system will be revived

-Government aiming for poverty elimination

-Improving quality of life in villages through empowered Panchayati -Raj system

-Government committed to giving high priority to water security

-New health policy will be launched

-Will take steps to curb hoarding and black marketing

-Will launch national sports search system

-Swachch Bharat Mission to be launched

-National Madarssa modernization programme will be initiated

-Govt will have zero tolerance towards violence against women

-Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao mass programmes to be launched

-Efforts will be made to ensure that Kashmiri Pandits return to their homeland

-Government to ensure pucca housing and power supply to every family

-Promotion of private investment in defence sector

-Media to be used as a tool for participative government

-Government to formulate clear rules for allocation of coal, minerals and telecoms spectrum

-Government will complete pending irrigation projects

-Government to take steps against black money

-Will increase investment in agriculture

-National e-Governance plan to be launched

-Issue of infiltration in the north east will be tackled on priority

-Govt will chalk out an ambitious infrastructure development programme

-Government will launch a diamond quadrilateral project of high-speed trains

-Low cost airports will be developed to increase connectivity to smaller areas

-Single-window system of clearances to promote manufacturing

-National Mission on Himalayas to be launched

-One rank one pension scheme will be implemented

-Government will revive brand India on the basic of Tradition, Talent, Tourism, Trade and Technology

-24-7 electricity supply for every family by 2022

-Government will set up national maritime security

-Govt will work towards revitalizing SAARC

-Govt will bring renewed vigour in its engagement with the Unites States of America

-Government will adopt national land use policy
